Is Kente Claus replacing Santa Claus?  No way! Kente Claus is a friend and colleague of Santa.  They both work for the Claus Corporation and in 2016 Kente was hired to help Santa spread toys to boys and girls across the Caribbean and Africa during Christmas. 

What makes Kente Claus different?  He is Canada's first Afrocentric Claus. You can visit any of our social media pages and see the journey of Kente Claus from his summer home in the Caribbean to North America where collects gently used toys to send back to the Caribbean and Africa.  
Kente Claus tells the treasured Christmas tales and sings familiar songs. Additionally, he tells the unique and powerful story of the First Christmas in Africa. During the story about the birth of Jesus (Matthew 2:13) it says that Jesus and his family had to flee to Egypt.  Kente Claus tells the untold story of this journey.

Are you hiring?  We usually hire one or two helpers for events during the Christmas season and pay above average wages.

We donate 10% of all booking fees to Kente Claus' cause, "Barrels of Hope", which sends gently used toys to children in the Caribbean and Africa.
