Is Kente Claus replacing Santa Claus?  No way! Kente Claus is a friend and colleague of Santa.  They both work for the Claus Corporation and about 3 years ago Kente was hired to help Santa spread toys to boys and girls across the Caribbean and Africa during Christmas. 

What makes Kente Claus different?  He is Canada's first Afrocentric Claus, which has a great story that is being told online.  You can visit any of our social media pages and see the journey of Kente Claus from his summer home in the Caribbean to North America where he is here to collect gently used toys to send back to the Caribbean and Africa.  
Kente Claus tells the treasured Christmas tales and sings familiar songs. But in addition, he also tells of the unique and powerful story of the First Christmas in Africa. In the Bible, during the story about Baby Jesus' birth (Matthew 2:13) it says that He and his family had to flee to Egypt.  Kente Claus tells of the untold story of this journey.

How can we get a discount?  We have promotional deals for repeat customers or multi-year contracts. We barter with vendor markets and mall clients. Our rates are as reasonable and competitive as possible.  We pay our "elves" above average wages and donate 10% of all booking fees to Kente Claus' cause, "Barrels of Hope", which sends toys to children in the Caribbean and Africa so we are providing you maximum service with very minimal profit.  Bottom line, we don't want money to be the reason why Kente Claus cannot bring joy to children and families at your event, so let us know how close you are to our rates and let's see what we can do.
